The Wasteland

Respected Sir,
1. Eliot and Nietzsche’s views are different, so we can say that- Eliot is regressive as compared to Nietzsche’s views. For proved his views, Eliot has used myths because myths represents desire, dream and myths are also from past. When Nietzsche’s concept about superman is about individual life, it means to make individuals and powerful free life.
2. The concept of Eliot and Freud, both are important. But Freud’s views are objective and Eliot’s views are philosophical.  So, both are opposite from each other. The poem ‘Wasteland’ depends on sexual perversion and spiritual degradation.

3. In the poem ‘Wasteland’ Eliot used Indian myths from different religions and in the 5th part “The Thunder Said”- we can see the Indian thoughts. Like, Da, Dayadhvam and Damayata which means, Da = Giver, Dayadhvam = sympathize, and Damayata = control.

My views on Deconstruction

Respected Sir,
According to Derrida, the term Deconstruction is hard to define as it has no exact meaning at all. It is a form of philosophical and literary analysis. Deconstruction is a way of reading and text and there by exposing the instability of meaning which the text tries to cover up.
As a post-structuralist critic, here I want to give an example of literary text. T.P. Kailasam’s “The Purpose”, in which he deconstructs the original myth from Mahabharata and in his play he gave more importance to the Eklavya’s character and presented the unknown things which are not originally in Mahabharata.
In structure we find intention of author and in post structure author is dead. So, post structuralist stand against the text and deconstruct the work of literature.
 Thank you….

Respected Sir,
Structuralism means analysis of different perspective of human behavior. Structuralism is the given to Saussure’s approach to language as a system of relationship. Our structuralist critic, Gerard Genet,  Roland Barthes , Julia Kristeva and Tzvetan Todorov , they are believed that every work goes with same structure in films, TV serials or literary texts. In this essay , the method of mood, order, voice, duration, frequency are used and we can see this method in films and TV serials also.
For e.g.:   Karan Johor’s movies like, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Student of the Year, these both movies are based on friendship and main idea is also about friendship but as we can see the method of this essay, order, mood, voice, frequency and duration are used in different way in both films.

Thank you..
